Senior Casualty Underwriter Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Casualty Underwriter to join our team at Stride Resource Management. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in managing and positively underwriting new business opportunities, as well as effectively managing complex renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and underwrite new business opportunities, ensuring accurate risk assessment and effective management of complex renewals
  • Respond to underwriting referrals from the underwriting team, providing guidance and coaching as necessary
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure priorities are focused and goals are achieved
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, providing professional and supportive communication

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years underwriting experience in UK Casualty risks, with premiums ranging from £10k to £100k and upwards
  • Strong communication and team player skills, with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends
