Your responsibilities will include contributing to setting net risk appetite, rate, risk tolerance, volatility, accumulations, and aggregations, as well as working with underwriters on complex casualty risks.

As a Casualty Underwriting Specialist, you will support the development and execution of strategic underwriting direction, including rate strength, appetite, business mix, and capacity deployment. You will also analyze internal and external emerging issues and trends, providing resultant underwriting direction incorporating feedback from Claim, Risk Control, and Actuarial. Additionally, you will have oversight of technical content of BI underwriting materials, such as TRV policy wordings, underwriting guides, policy summaries, procedures, and technical resource articles.

Key qualifications for this role include solid experience in commercial underwriting and product within the property and casualty industry, strong relationship building skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
