Position Overview

As a Lead Nurse (RMN/RNLD) at Barchester, you will leverage your leadership capabilities to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support that defines our reputation. Key Responsibilities

Your professional judgment will be crucial in making significant clinical decisions, from evaluating the needs of new residents to administering medications in accordance with NMC regulations. Among your varied responsibilities, you will mentor and support your team to uphold the highest standards of nursing practice. As a Lead Nurse, you will enjoy the autonomy to implement best practices and will be genuinely appreciated for your contributions.

Candidate Profile

To qualify for the Lead Nurse (RMN/RNLD) position, you must be a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC registration and possess a mentorship or supervision qualification. It is essential to have experience in providing high-quality care to residents with dementia, as well as the ability to create care plans and conduct thorough risk assessments. We will also look for your up-to-date knowledge of current clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You should be a natural leader and problem solver, with experience working with older adults and mentoring newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
