Willing Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Surgical Team Member in our dynamic healthcare team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating theatre, assist surgeons during surgical procedures, and provide high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating theatre for surgeries by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilized
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, retractor, and other necessary items
  • Monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and positive surgical outcomes
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff members


Requirements

We require a Registered (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification, valid and clear registration with the NMC or HCPC, and proven experience in a Scrub role (Minimum 6 months).
