About the RoleChurchill Estates Management is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lodge Manager for our retirement community. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with residents and possess a strong background in administration and customer service. You will play a vital role in coordinating the community's operations and activities, enhancing the quality of life for our Home Owners and ensuring a seamless retirement experience.
As the Lodge Manager, you will report directly to the Area Manager and be responsible for overseeing property maintenance while delivering exceptional service to Owners. This independent position requires you to be the reliable point of contact on-site, fostering a friendly and supportive environment for residents. Your responsibilities will include liaising with various stakeholders, managing contractors, scheduling maintenance tasks, conducting health and safety inspections, and organizing community events.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the property.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
- Coordinate and organize activities and events for Owners.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with residents and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sectors such as retirement living, social housing, hospitality, or health and social care. A successful Lodge Manager is someone who thrives in a front-facing role and is committed to delivering top-notch customer service while demonstrating strong administrative capabilities.
Your enthusiasm for providing excellent service is crucial. You should possess a warm and approachable demeanor, along with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism. Additionally, you will need to exhibit good judgment and remain composed under pressure, as you will often work independently while using your initiative.
To effectively manage events and oversee property maintenance, proficiency in administration and computer skills is essential, particularly with Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Outlook.
