Site Installation Manager

Minstrell Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Site Installation Manager to join our UK Project Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and budget-friendly delivery of projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • On-Site and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Liaison with Key Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with project managers, programme managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Safety Audits and Checks: Conduct regular safety audits and checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Delivery and Material Management: Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
  • Site H&S Procedures and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety procedures and documentation.
  • Weekly Reporting: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • H&S Qualification/Experience: Possess a relevant health and safety qualification (CDM, IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS) and experience in a similar role.
  • Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and teams.
  • Organizational and Planning Skills: Ability to organize day-to-day tasks and prepare for future tasks as detailed in the project programme.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Excellent client and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
  • Material Handling Systems: Understanding of the installation of material handling systems is essential.
  • Project Completion: Ability to drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
