Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in the Microelectronics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out engineering activities to ensure the requirements for a product line or product group are met and complied with.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects.
  • Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and more junior or graduate engineers on joint tasks; day-to-day tasks, medium/long-term projects, training, mentoring, and development.
  • Develop processes and ensure the best possible quality and reduce waste; increase efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout, identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting on process indicators or other measurables to help drive improvement.
  • Use documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability, and Gauge R&R to continuously verify and validate manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure equipment and process Standard Operating Procedures are documented and reviewed regularly for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Production Teams in all matters technical, address technical issues, re-optimization of processes, and troubleshooting.
  • Review new and/or up-issued customer documentation to ensure documents and processes are compliant with customer requirements.
  • Assist quality engineers to investigate instances of poor quality or customer returns, compile evidence and data for 8D reports, review and evaluate process risk for PFMEAs, and support both internal and external audits.
  • Support senior engineers and management with the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Ensure key equipment remains operational by working with maintenance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment.
  • A Degree Level Qualification in the following would be an advantage; BEng/MEng in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  • It would be desirable to hold a HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
