We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer dedicated to ensuring that every project we undertake adheres to the utmost quality standards. If you have a passion for developing and maintaining Inspection Test Plans, this position may be ideal for you.

This role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to identify quality challenges and opportunities for enhancement, ensuring that safety and efficiency are consistently prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review client Inspection Plans to ascertain quality specifications such as material grades, welding methodologies, non-destructive testing requirements, intervention points, acceptance criteria, and record verification.
  • Develop, manage, and revise inspection test plans for various projects.
  • Ensure the completion of all reports generated throughout the manufacturing process, contributing to the assembly of manufacturing record books.
  • Work closely with the project team to align Inspection Test Plans with established requirements.
  • Conduct weekly surveillance tours of production units, promptly addressing any quality concerns with the project and production teams.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve identified quality issues.
  • Participate actively in project progress and quality meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering and inspection plan management.
  • Technical proficiency and knowledge of marine processes, materials, and industry standards, coupled with a strong attention to detail and an appreciation for quality.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality standards and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills developed through project work and teamwork.
  • Proficient in various Microsoft applications, including Project, Word, and Excel.
