Job Title: Communications & Community Lead and PA to Works Directors (Secondment)

Location: Port Sunlight Factories (site based)

This role is responsible for providing strategic support to the Works Directors and Management Teams of Port Sunlight Factories, while owning and executing Employee and Community Engagement programs.

Safety & Quality
  • Ensure Company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed, including risk assessments for external events where necessary.
  • Act as Fire Warden for the office.
  • Maintain the Crisis Management Meeting room.

Employee and Community Engagement

  • Develop and lead community and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee the communication system for the site, including the newsletter, ELTs, QBRs, team meetings, and digital communication.
  • Update digital signage regularly.
  • Coordinate Retirement Dinners, including venue booking, invitations, transportation, flowers, photographer, and processing invoices.
  • Liaise with UK comms and lead proactive and reactive communication in any incident.
  • Manage the R&R, events, and charity budget, including raising Purchase Orders, goods receipt, and dealing with invoices.
  • Arrange meetings, workshops, and team days, booking venues and hospitality as required.
  • Travel arrangements, including flights, rail, hire cars, chauffeur cars, and accommodation.
  • Visitors' accommodation and car bookings, meet and greet as necessary.
  • Order stationery for the factory and office.
  • Handle sensitive data confidentially.
