Job Title: Finance Officer

Greenwell Gleeson is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the company's manufacturing and construction business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and control production and manufacturing accounts
  2. Produce monthly management accounts
  3. Develop and maintain regular group reports, including monthly management accounts, cash reporting, and quarterly statutory consolidation
  4. Collaborate with site teams and the shared service department to review and improve reporting accuracy
  5. Conduct regular site visits to ensure financial compliance
  6. Reconcile key balance sheet accounts
  7. Prepare year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  8. Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory returns
  9. Provide technical accounting guidance on UK and international GAAP
  10. Support the Chief Financial Officer in preparing plans and forecasts
  11. Assist the Chief Financial Officer with ad hoc commercial projects
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Accountant
  2. Experience in manufacturing or production accounting
  3. Proven staff management and motivation skills
  4. Hands-on approach with attention to detail
  5. Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills
  6. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  7. Self-starter with minimal supervision
