Position Overview

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team as we initiate a significant digital transformation.

We seek an individual who is proactive, enthusiastic about data and analytics, and dedicated to fostering business success through digital advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze intricate data sets to uncover trends, patterns, KPIs, and insights that will guide strategic decision-making.
  • Extract data from various sources, including APIs, CSV files, SQL databases, and other data repositories.
  • Transform and model raw data into a usable format for comprehensive analysis.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and Excel to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to the ongoing support and development of the data landscape to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage multiple projects alongside ad hoc tasks efficiently.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a computer or data science discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis or a related field, with strong proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with REST APIs for data integration and retrieval.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Expertise in Excel, including complex formulas and data visualization techniques.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Lake architectures and technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of a programming language for data analysis and scripting, such as Python, Pyspark, R, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's Fabric data platform, API development, and automation.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, depending on experience, along with annual pay reviews. Additional benefits include:
