About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our Stroke Medicine team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in the care of stroke patients across the whole stroke pathway, including assessment, management, and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the care of stroke patients, including assessment, management, and rehabilitation
  • Support patients during rehabilitation, preventing and managing medical complications, and aiding patient and family decision making
  • Contribute to the out-patient follow-up of patients following discharge
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Medical Qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Fully registered with the GMC
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience, including completion of foundation training programme
  • Good knowledge and skills required in the practice of Internal Medicine
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • MRCP (UK) or equivalent
  • Higher degree/certification in Neurology/Stroke
  • Track record of research presentations and academic publications
  • Some experience of stroke care
