We are currently in search of a dedicated and detail-focused Construction Project Coordinator to assist in managing a significant new £8 million educational facility project in Greater London.
The Role:
As the Construction Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our latest educational facility project.
Your role will involve supporting the Project Manager in overseeing all facets of the construction process, guaranteeing that the project is delivered on schedule, within financial parameters, and to the highest quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in daily site operations, including site oversight, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and plans.
- Safety Management: Foster and uphold a robust health and safety culture on-site, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and company standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct monitoring and inspections to ensure superior quality and compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise site documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and health and safety records.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to facilitate seamless project advancement.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and addressing any challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process.

About You:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role within the construction sector, ideally on educational or public sector projects.
- Qualifications: Relevant construction-related qualifications (HNC/HND/BSc) and a valid CSCS card. SMSTS or SSSTS certification is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- Attitude: Proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes. A solid understanding of health and safety practices is essential.
