Principal/Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Civil Engineer to join our London office and enhance our services in infrastructure design and delivery.

Role Overview

As a key member of our civils team, you will be involved in all project stages from inception to completion. You will work closely with discipline leaders and Directors to support and develop junior team members, ensuring the highest standards of design within project constraints.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Infrastructure, highways, and drainage design
  • Scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs
  • Project management, including liaison with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Chartered status with the ICE is preferred or a desire to achieve chartered status
  • A proven track record across multiple sectors delivering projects of varying values
  • Detailed working knowledge of Site 3D or Civils 3D, WINDES, and AutoCAD
  • Experience in drainage design, highway alignment design, materials specification, ground conditions, earthworks, and gaining Consents and planning approvals
