Principal Civil Engineer

Are you looking for a challenging role that offers you the opportunity to shape your career and take on new responsibilities? We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join our team in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and project management of major highway and infrastructure schemes, including drainage design and road pavement design.
  • Manage a team of engineers and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, including transport planners and private sector clients.
  • Manage the financial performance of projects, including tender and contract administration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in detail design for major/minor highway and infrastructure schemes, drainage design, road pavement design, and external works design.
  • Experience in project inception through detailed design and site supervision, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Commercial experience working with private sector clients, understanding their requirements, and an understanding of the financial performance of projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Drainage.
  • Civil Engineering degree or HNC/D with extensive experience, and CEng/IEng MICE or CEng/IEng MCIHT.
