About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer 2 to join our team at Rogers Corporation. As a Sales Engineer 2, you will be responsible for generating new business and driving growth for medium to large moderately complex existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site consultation to drive revenue and margin within assigned territories
  • Establish strategies, objectives, and sales plans for key accounts and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Provide timely market and competitive intelligence, understanding market environments and competitive situations, and building appropriate response plans
  • Establish sales plans for significant growth within a competitive and emerging application technology market
  • Meet or exceed key metrics for revenue growth, operating profit, and market share in regional target sectors across the whole product range
  • Generate unique value for key target companies and OEMs
  • Initiate, maintain, and grow influential client relationships with key accounts and ensure effective and constant lead generation in liaison with customers
  • Leverage group products and campaigns and drive and support additional sales activities through OEM subcontract manufacturers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience in direct technical sales, with a proven track record of increasing sales
  • Experienced in working with and/or managing complex global accounts (directly and indirectly) – OEMs, fabricators, and assemblers
  • Experienced in customer relationship management and demand planning processes and tools
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in the English language
  • Travel: Up to 50%
  • You live in the UK
