About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the UK's leading heart and lung hospital. As a Physiotherapist in our Cardiothoracic Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex cardiorespiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to patients with a wide range of cardio-respiratory conditions, including critical care, medical, and surgical patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized Physiotherapy plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy.
  • Contribute to the development of Physiotherapy services and initiatives within the Trust.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience in managing cardiorespiratory patients independently, including critical care, medical, and surgical patients.
  • Knowledge of common cardiac and respiratory conditions, with the ability to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and planning of treatment options.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize your workload, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of on-call and weekend working, with a flexible approach to working hours.
