Advanced Learning Disability Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled physiotherapist to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Learning Disability Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex cardio-respiratory conditions.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative team, covering inpatient and outpatient services, including on-call, twilight, and weekend working provision. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive physiotherapy service to patients with a wide range of cardio-respiratory conditions, including critical care, medical, and surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert physiotherapy care to patients with complex cardio-respiratory conditions, including critical care, medical, and surgical patients.
- Work independently and prioritize your workload, delegating effectively to others as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Participate in audits and research projects to improve patient outcomes and advance physiotherapy practice.
- HCPC registration and CSP membership.
- Experience managing cardio-respiratory patients independently, including critical care, medical, and surgical patients.
- Knowledge of common cardiac and respiratory conditions, with sound clinical reasoning and planning of treatment options.
- Ability to work autonomously and be a team player, with excellent communication skills.
- Experience of on-call and weekend working, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
