About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Nurse Specialist to join our Community Respiratory Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care and support to patients with chronic respiratory disease across Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Provide palliative care and support to patients and their families, promoting a better understanding of respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a coordinated service and prevent avoidable hospital admissions.
  • Represent the Community Respiratory Team at meetings and conferences, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Level 1 RN/BSc Hons Degree and NMC registration.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in Respiratory Medicine or willingness to undertake training.
  • Recent experience in Respiratory Medicine, with a strong understanding of respiratory conditions and their management.
