About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Project Manager to join our team at Gleeds. As a key member of our Programme and Project Management Team, you will be responsible for managing projects, customer relationships, and leading a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Deliver high-quality services and ensure project management deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Manage teams to deliver high-quality services and deliverables.
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, or Project Manager.
- Produce and present reports to customers.
- Mentor and coach employees to help them realize their full potential.
- Prepare bids for services.
- Manage service delivery for profit.
- Advise Directors promptly of any issues that may impact Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance.
- Identify new business development opportunities and drive growth across Business Units.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced project management professional who can lead our team and deliver high-quality results. You will have:
- Broad, in-depth project management experience.
- Detailed knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques.
- Sound knowledge of the industry, including factors affecting it, and construction methods and materials.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, and/or Project Manager.
- Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Ability to motivate others and lead high-performance teams.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Methodical approach to work.
- Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
- Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
- MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers)
- MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)
