About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Project Manager to join our team at Gleeds. As a key member of our Programme and Project Management Team, you will be responsible for managing projects, customer relationships, and leading a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality services and ensure project management deliverables meet customer requirements.
  • Manage teams to deliver high-quality services and deliverables.
  • Administer contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, or Project Manager.
  • Produce and present reports to customers.
  • Mentor and coach employees to help them realize their full potential.
  • Prepare bids for services.
  • Manage service delivery for profit.
  • Advise Directors promptly of any issues that may impact Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance.
  • Identify new business development opportunities and drive growth across Business Units.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced project management professional who can lead our team and deliver high-quality results. You will have:

  • Broad, in-depth project management experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques.
  • Sound knowledge of the industry, including factors affecting it, and construction methods and materials.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent, and/or Project Manager.
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
  • Ability to motivate others and lead high-performance teams.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
  • Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
  • MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers)
  • MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)
