Associate Director - Client Project Management

At Turner & Townsend, we're passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. As an Associate Director - Client Project Management, you'll play a key role in leading our Project Management Corporate Occupier team in Kuala Lumpur.

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Associate Director to join our team. You'll be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions, taking ownership of end-to-end service delivery, and providing support on major Project Management Commissions.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Establishing project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
  • Leading compliance for quality, safety, health, and environment issues on project commissions
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems
  • Leading project planning, including producing detailed project plans
  • Advising on resource procurement
  • Leading cross-functional project teams
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
  • Leading project finances and Contract Administration processes
  • Managing project information flow between the team and client
  • Preparing project progress reports
  • Interfacing with clients and other consultants

You'll also be responsible for marketing and business development, including identifying opportunities to develop new business with existing clients, leading bid documentation, and ensuring project case studies are up-to-date.

As an Associate Director, you'll be expected to:

  • Mentor and develop line reports
  • Carry out performance reviews
  • Identify skills gaps in the team

We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience working on interior fit-out projects. You'll need strong working knowledge of Microsoft products and good analytical skills.
