Job Title: Associate Director

As an Associate Director at Turner & Townsend Group, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients, empowering our people to reach their full potential, and contributing to the creation of a prosperous society.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Project Management commissions, taking ownership of end-to-end service delivery, and providing support on major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Management commissions, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide support on major projects, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
  • Establish project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Lead compliance efforts for quality, safety, health, and environmental issues on project commissions.
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead project planning, including developing detailed project plans.
  • Advise on resource procurement and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques to drive project success.
  • Lead project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Manage contract administration, claims resolution, and disputes.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and clients, ensuring regular updates and written reports.
  • Take a leading role in interfacing with clients and other consultants throughout project stages.
  • Contribute to business development, leading bids, and managing small teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Professional qualifications in construction, project management, engineering, surveying, or architecture.
  • Experience working with law firms or in a legal setting.
  • Senior management experience, ideally with a leading consultancy.
  • Membership in a professional body, such as RICS, APM, or CIOB.
  • Experience delivering CAT A/CAT B office projects and managing teams on schemes over 60,000 sqft.
