Job Title: Associate Director Project Manager

Join The Pokémon Company International as an Associate Director Project Manager and take on a challenging role that requires coordination and communication skills in both English and Japanese.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Director Project Manager to coordinate the localization of video games and other related text from Japanese into French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external partners in the UK, US, Japan, and Europe to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate localization of video games and other related text from Japanese into French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
  • Manage internal Q&A processes.
  • Assist internal teams as necessary, including Localisation Management, Localisation and Marketing teams.

Requirements:

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and shifting schedules.
  • Experience working with a team of translators of multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of French, German, Italian, or Spanish is an advantage but not essential.
  • Knowledge/interest/experience in video games and/or the video game industry is a plus but not essential.
