The Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, writing test cases, automating test scripts, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of performance and functionality before release.

You will also be responsible for our release management processes and working with the VP of Engineering to define and execute strategic initiatives to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience working as a QA or Software Engineer in a high growth, startup environment with a focus on test automation and manual testing
  • Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG; CI/CD pipelines; feature flag management; and automated testing
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., regression, functional, unit, integration, and scale/performance testing)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to successfully engage across audiences of varying backgrounds and technical proficiencies
  • Ability and comfort operating with ambiguity in an early stage startup environment
