The Role: Aircraft Mechanic
Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. This involves exceeding regulatory standards and adhering to our Engineering Quality protocols. You will engage in various maintenance activities, including component replacements, routine inspections, and thorough visual assessments. Documenting these procedures will be a fundamental aspect of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct servicing and maintenance tasks on aircraft or components under supervision.
- Operate vehicles and mechanical handling equipment within the limits of your permits.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following quality, health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform necessary IT and documentation tasks.
- Contribute to fostering a high-performance team culture aligned with company values.
- Assist in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to understand technical manuals and engineering guidelines.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with at least 3 months of recent hands-on engineering experience.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 12 months of verifiable experience as an aircraft mechanic.
- Proficient engineering skills with the ability to follow established procedures and technical documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in PC applications.
- Experience with engineering and document management systems.
- Possession of a UK Manual Driving Licence (Airside Driving Licence is a plus).
