Senior Practitioner - Children's Social Care

Croydon Council is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Children's Social Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with children and families to assess their needs and develop effective support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and managers on systemic practice and child-centered approaches.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being of children and families.
  • Participate in reflective supervision and peer review to ensure high standards of practice.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date registration with Social Work England.
  • Foundation level systemic practice qualification desirable.
  • Knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments regarding children's social care.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance frameworks.
