Position Overview

Brightwork Ltd is excited to announce an opportunity for a Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team. This role is focused on overseeing the management of a vibrant bar environment, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service and a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Daily Operations: Supervising the bar's daily activities to guarantee high standards of customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, and managing staff to foster a positive and productive workplace.
  • Financial Oversight: Tracking expenses and revenue, ensuring the bar remains profitable, and managing cash handling and sales reconciliation.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Planning and implementing promotional events and special offers to engage both new and returning patrons.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Upholding health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for both staff and customers.
  • Additional Duties: Assisting with various operational tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of motivating and managing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of organization.
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry, particularly within the whisky sector.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
