Position Overview

In response to our expanding operations, we are seeking a Vehicle Technician to become a part of our dynamic team at CUPRA Coventry. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with Saturday shifts on a rotational basis.

Our compensation packages are among the best in the industry, tailored to reflect the experience and skill level of each candidate.

Enjoy a competitive base salary of up to £40,000, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential of up to £43,000, in addition to various benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Technicians will handle the servicing, repairs, and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards on the first attempt. Primary duties include electrical and mechanical repairs, covering areas such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhaust systems, and air conditioning maintenance. Additional tasks may involve servicing and repairs on Electric and Hybrid vehicles, utilizing electronic diagnostic tools, with a focus on components like batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems. Technicians will be expected to install manufacturer accessories and audio systems. A comprehensive understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its significance to the business is essential. You will receive training to operate supplementary systems, such as video reporting tools. Completing all service documentation in accordance with manufacturer and brand standards is required. Collaborating closely with fellow workshop team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who possess experience in the Automotive industry as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or as an Apprentice Vehicle Technician. Whether your experience comes from an independent garage, fast-fit center, car supermarket, or main dealership, we are eager to hear from you. A minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is required. Certification in Electric and Hybrid vehicle technology is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. An MOT License is beneficial but not essential. A valid UK Driving License is necessary.
