Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Car Sales Consultant to join our dynamic CUPRA team in Coventry.

The role offers a balanced working schedule, allowing you to enjoy every other weekend off. Your first week will involve working from Monday to Sunday with a designated day off during the week, followed by a week of Monday to Friday without weekend commitments. Standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sundays.

Our compensation package includes the use of a company vehicle and an On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential of £50,000, which comprises a basic salary of £20,000.

As a Sales Consultant at Listers, your primary goal will be to ensure that each customer feels valued by accurately identifying how our vehicles meet their needs. This involves aligning the right vehicle with the right customer and providing tailored features and add-ons. You will oversee the entire sales process, from financing options to contract finalization, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish trust and communicate effectively to exceed customer expectations through thorough qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  • Maximize sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-in customers, and online leads.
  • Enhance profitability by meeting monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to unit sales, profit margins, finance options, and additional products.
  • Comply with the Company's FCA and data protection standards by accurately gathering customer contact and vehicle information to improve the quality of our customer database.

Candidate Profile

  • This position may be ideal for individuals with experience as a car sales consultant, retail manager, or sales manager.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential.
  • The ability to quickly build rapport with customers is crucial.
  • Candidates should demonstrate potential for a successful career in the automotive industry.
  • A valid UK driver's license is required.
  • While experience in the motor trade, automotive sector, or car dealership is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided.
