Role Overview

The Marketing Communications Executive is a crucial addition to our Brand team. In this role, you will assist in executing marketing, public relations, and partnership strategies for our managed hotels and associated dining establishments across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the USA. As we expand, you will collaborate with the brand and sales teams to implement marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility. Your contributions will support our owned and earned media channels, focusing on hotels, food and beverage, events, and new openings.

You will be part of the commercial division, working closely with various departments and external partners, including social media and public relations agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the regional marketing and brand team in enhancing the visibility and reputation of our hotels and managed restaurants.
  • Oversee the hotel marketing calendar and identify opportunities for cross-promotion among hotels.
  • Generate innovative ideas for hotel promotions through public relations, brand partnerships, events, and social media.
  • Support hotel photo shoots to create content for social media, PR campaigns, and brand channels.
  • Coordinate hotel collateral requests with the Graphic Design team.
  • Manage requests from press and influencers for hotel stays.
  • Maintain proactive communication with local hotel teams regarding ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Team to support the overall marketing strategies of YOTEL.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Public Relations.
  • Essential: Experience with consumer brands and project management.
  • Desirable: Qualifications in journalism, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Desirable: Experience in the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 software.
