About the Role

As the HR Operations Manager at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding, compliant, and effective HR service to all stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will work closely with the HR leadership team to implement policies, processes, and systems relevant to the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve key people processes through the administration of cyclical and ad hoc operational HR activity, including monthly payroll, onboarding, offboarding, performance review cycles, contractual changes, and more.
  • Ensure that the HR team provides an efficient, accurate, and effective service to line managers and employees, ensuring that queries are dealt with quickly and accurately.
  • Liaise with line managers or HR subject matter experts (Business Partners, L&D, Talent Acquisition, Data and Systems) where necessary.
  • Have line management responsibility for a team of 5 HR Administrators.
Requirements
  • Experience in HR generalist with a strong HR administration background.
  • Knowledge of supporting payroll processes.
  • At least 2 years as a HR Manager/Team Leader who has led a team of at least 3 people.
  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or equivalent experience in an HR role.
