Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business and Project Support Administrator to join our Digital Services team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. This role will involve diary management, handling correspondence, and day-to-day requests, as well as administration for team meetings, quality improvement projects, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to deliver projects and provide high-quality reports to senior managers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the safety and governance personnel, including diary management and correspondence handling.
  • Assist with the organization of team meetings, quality improvement projects, and stakeholder management.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver projects and provide high-quality reports to senior managers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and well-presented documentation, presentations, and spreadsheets using Microsoft applications.
  • Collate, analyze, and manipulate data to compile high-quality reports for senior managers.
Requirements
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of general education to Grade C and above GCSE level in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
  • RSA III or equivalent and/or Word Processing Qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 Administration qualification or equivalent.
  • Advanced IT Skills in MS Office.
Desirable Criteria
  • Shorthand.
  • Audio Typing.
  • Secretarial qualifications.
  • Minute taking qualification.
Previous Experience
  • Substantial experience in use of IT systems, including Word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Experience of negotiating and obtaining information.
  • Experience of analyzing and presenting data.

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and establish good working relationships at all levels.
