About the Role

Savills Management Resources is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the facilities meet regulatory standards and codes, while providing exceptional customer service to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, and security activities to ensure the property is well-maintained and secure.
  • Liaise with tenants and owners to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and codes of practice, including health and safety, COSHH, and environmental matters.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues or hazards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and other property-related activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve property performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in property management, with a focus on facilities management and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
