About The Position

Job Overview: Dyson is embarking on an ambitious growth strategy aimed at transitioning to a model where a significant portion of sales is generated through direct and controlled channels. This position is integral to the Group Dyson Demo Store team, reporting directly to the Assistant Store Manager. You will collaborate closely with various senior leaders, including the Global VP of Dyson Demo Stores, to ensure that our retail and event initiatives consistently provide an exceptional brand experience.

As a Retail Team Leader, you will be pivotal to the store's overall performance, assisting in the seamless operation of daily activities and guiding the team in the absence of Store Management. Your role will focus on delivering outstanding customer interactions that captivate shoppers through effective product demonstrations. Additionally, you will proactively identify potential challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between Store Management and team members, taking responsibility for specific aspects of daily store operations. Lead by example, fostering an environment that showcases our products and delivers exemplary demonstrations and customer experiences. Collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager to analyze store performance and customer behavior to drive business growth. Become a subject matter expert in our technology, supporting the introduction of new products and services. Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed. Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed about product developments, while encouraging the team to do the same.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Demonstrated understanding of retail operations and experience in supporting daily store functions. A collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering a five-star customer experience while achieving commercial objectives. Proven ability to communicate effectively and engage with stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge the status quo. Familiarity with in-store operations, including work schedule management and inventory control. Ideally, possess knowledge of the beauty industry.
