Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and procurement services for components, materials, services, and subcontract manufacturing to ensure continuity of supply at acceptable levels of quality, stock availability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing: Procure and purchase components, materials, services, and subcontract manufacturing to meet production and development requirements.
  • MRP Management: Review and manage MRP requirements generated for production, ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock holdings and minimizing stockouts.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and lead times to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Procurement Process: Implement and manage procurement processes to meet KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MRP systems, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: CIPS or APICS certification preferred.
