About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Reception Volunteer at the Dementia Resource Centre in Peterborough. As a key point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive impression of Alzheimer's Society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet visitors, connecting them with the people they have come to visit and/or the groups they wish to attend.
  • Provide support to staff, volunteers, people affected by dementia, and members of the public as they arrive at the office.
  • Assist with general office tasks, such as outgoing post and ordering office supplies.
  • Make internal and external room bookings using our in-house IT system.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to support on at least one day and for at least three hours out of the following days and times: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays between 9.30-3.30.
