About the Role

Humnize is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our team as an EPOS Installation and Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining EPOS hardware and kiosks, as well as ensuring reliable connectivity and functionality at every site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain EPOS hardware and kiosks, including touch-screen terminals, card readers, receipt printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and functionality at every site through 1st and 2nd fix data cabling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site, applying basic software knowledge to minimize disruption to clients' customers.
  • Confidently operate power tools, such as grinders, impact drivers, and SDS drills, to get the job done efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • A background in retail or QSR is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • EPOS hardware and kiosks experience, as well as data cabling (Cat5, Cat6), fiber cabling, patch paneling, switches, comms, units, and routers.
  • CSCS/ECS cardholder preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel, work away from home, and tackle overnight shifts when necessary.
  • Quick thinking and adaptable, with a can-do attitude and a passion for problem-solving.
