Forestry Consultant Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Forestry Consultant to join our esteemed consultancy firm. This role involves providing expert guidance to clients on various aspects of forest management, ensuring sustainable practices and optimal resource utilization.

Our consultancy has a rich history in rural property management, specializing in land stewardship, ecological management, and forestry services. We pride ourselves on maintaining high industry standards while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. We are currently expanding our team and looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to develop comprehensive long-term forestry strategies.
  • Provide insights on maximizing timber yield and establishing high-quality crops.
  • Oversee the management of existing woodlands and implement wildlife conservation measures.
  • Conduct woodland assessments, surveys, and facilitate land transactions.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • HND in Forestry, BSc in Forestry, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in forestry management, applicable in both public and private sectors.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in forestry investment, valuation, or sales is advantageous.
  • Membership with the Institute of Chartered Foresters is preferred.
