About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Consents and Land team as a Graduate Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our renewable energy projects across various technologies, including wind, hydro, solar, and battery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in establishing, advising, and implementing consenting mechanisms for our renewable energy projects.
  • Monitor the delivery of projects against the permissions received and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with our development site origination processes, assist in negotiating land purchases and agreements, and gain experience in building and maintaining landowner relationships.
  • Collaborate with our onshore and offshore teams to develop and implement strategies for securing consents and land agreements.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2:2 degree in a relevant discipline, such as Town Planning, Environmental Sciences, Urban Design, Rural Surveying, Land Management, Law, or Geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including local authorities, landowners, consultees, and communities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • A passion for the energy sector and a commitment to sustainability.
