Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with complex needs
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Monitor and report student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
