We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with complex needs
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Monitor and report student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with complex needs
