Quality Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at The Lubrizol Corporation. As a Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes, while also driving continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality professionals to ensure effective quality control and assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize quality performance.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and training programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of quality-related issues.
  • Provide training and coaching to quality team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to develop and implement quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality management role in the chemical industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
