Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our service and provide high-quality patient care to children and young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for the management of eating disorders.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our service.
Requirements
  • Effective participation in and a commitment to clinical audit.
  • Participation in a quality improvement programme.
  • Experience of quality improvement work and audit.
Qualifications
  • MB BS or Equivalent.
  • Current APLS Certification.
  • MRCP/MRCS or Equivalent.
  • Full GMC Registration.
