Job Title: Freight Sales Executive

Job Description:

Streamline Search is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading freight and logistics company based in Tilbury, Southeast England. The company has been established for nearly 50 years and handles importations and exportations of all cargos by multimodal means - Air, Sea, Road & Rail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Source new business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations colleagues.
  2. Generate new sales, including FCL / LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight, import and export.
  3. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets.
  4. Able to bring in own transferable business is a definite advantage.
  5. Able to complete quotations with correct clauses.

Requirements:

  1. Ideally at least 2 years' experience in selling sea, air, and road freight in a forwarding environment.
  2. Experience in sales and development.
  3. Good overall knowledge of the Global freight industry.
  4. Good negotiation skills.
  5. Strong telesales experience.
  6. Strong attention to detail.
  7. Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
  8. Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Benefits:

Monday to Friday, £30,000-£35,000, Commission scheme, Standard holiday plus bank holidays, Onsite parking, Company pension.
