Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering the contractual elements of the Network Direct Enhanced Service (DES) Contract within our PCN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, management, prescribing, and treatment.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with primary care clinicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills to educate patients, promote self-care, and empower informed decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical examinations and assessments, considering both physiological and psychological perspectives.
  • Participate in setting and monitoring standards to ensure effective care delivery aligned with evidence-based practices.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and exploring innovative ways of working.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Paramedic
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an advanced paramedic
  • Awareness of telephone triage assessment
  • Experience in managing common minor injuries and illnesses
  • Clinical examination skills
  • Knowledge of the needs of patients with long-term conditions
  • Management of chronic (long-term) conditions
