About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accelerator Physicist to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing novel accelerator technologies to support our research programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new accelerator technologies to support our research programs
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement novel accelerator techniques
  • Conduct research and development in high-energy physics and accelerator technology
  • Develop and maintain software tools and codes for accelerator simulation and modeling
  • Work with our team to develop and implement new accelerator concepts
Requirements
  • PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience in high-energy physics and accelerator technology
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++ and Python
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
