We are excited to present an opportunity to become part of a thriving organization as a Management Accountant. This position offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, commensurate with experience.

About the Company
Page Personnel is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing company that is currently expanding its team during a pivotal phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with internal standards in a timely manner.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and provide commentary on month-end performance, addressing any variances from budget and forecast.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and a comprehensive understanding of all accounts within the balance sheet, performing monthly reconciliations.
  • Ensure intercompany balances are reconciled monthly across group entities.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to oversee and manage monthly and year-to-date overhead costs, updating forecasts as necessary.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditures in line with approved budgets.
  • Support the year-end audit process by liaising with external auditors as needed.
  • Provide analytical support for investment decisions.
  • Develop and enhance financial systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Formulate strategies aimed at reducing operational costs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role is essential.
  • Nearly CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel is necessary.
  • Understanding of the industry and product supply chain is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail is essential.
