Key Responsibilities
  • Implement IT security measures based on BSI standards
  • Conduct security analyses and penetration tests
  • Coordinate the implementation of IT security measures at central network, operating system, and application level
  • Process security incidents and coordinate necessary IT measures
  • Advise on IT security issues and provide training and awareness-raising for university employees
Requirements
  • Completed scientific university degree in computer science, IT security, physics, mathematics, communications engineering, administrative or business informatics
  • Experience in IT security, ideally in a scientific environment
  • Sound knowledge of security mechanisms at network, operating system, and application level
  • Knowledge of process-oriented IT service and IT security management frameworks
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and laws in the field of information security
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
