About the Role

Supermicro is seeking an experienced and successful sales leader to build, develop, and grow the newly formed EMEA Scalers Team. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving business growth in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the EMEA Enterprise business and the team servicing this customer segment.
  • Responsible for the assigned quote and management of the opportunity pipeline for this customer segment, growth plans, and execution of set corporate strategy and actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives at AAA Enterprise customers.
  • Develop and nurture the newly assembled team to achieve strong success.
  • Drive Supermicro's influence, brand name, and adoption of technology and solutions to and through the assigned customer segment in combination with other sales and technical resources.
  • This role is a hybrid role, and the candidate is expected to work from the Reading office on a regular cadence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in leading experienced salespeople (minimum 7 people+) and teams within business development, public/governmental/enterprise sales or similar field in the IT/datacenter segment.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven individual contributor experience within the IT/datacenter segment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Strong manager and leader of people.
  • Strong team player and collaborator.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating skills.
  • Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and diverse culture.
  • Native or professional fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Additional European language is a plus for this role.
