Job Title: Dry Finishing Supervisor

Bennett (Construction) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Dry Finishing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the finishing trade operations on site, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Finishing Trade Sub-Contractors to ensure programmes are maintained and services are coordinated effectively.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure Sub-Contractors programmes and coordination are aligned.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer to ensure engineering details and Sub-Contractor coordination are seamless.
  • Communicate with Quantity Surveyors on cost issues.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager on the procurement of bulk items.
  • Work with the Quality & Environmental Manager to maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Requisition materials and plant with the Site Clerk.
  • Support the implementation of the Safety Management System with the H&S Officers.
  • Assist with the control of plant and equipment on site.
  • Compile labour allocation sheets for all Bennett Direct labour and hired labour involved in finishing trades.
  • Maintain a daily Site Diary recording all manpower levels for finishing trade Sub-Contractors and keep accurate notes of on-site activities.
  • Schedule weekly Work Programmes for Finishing trades and review weekly progress Reports from the Master Construction Programme.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Deal with all Health and Safety issues on site.
  • Motivate Labourors and sub-contractors.
  • Attend Bennett weekly Management Team meetings.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team while maintaining a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Preferably 5 years Finishing Manager experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
