Position Overview: The Bishop of Newcastle is seeking a dedicated full-time vicar for the Benefice of Cowpen St Benedict in Blyth.

Role Purpose: This position represents a collaborative initiative between the Additional Curates Society and the Newcastle Diocese, aimed at revitalizing the Christian community within the Cowpen estate. The role is set against the backdrop of Northumberland's rich Christian and industrial heritage, while addressing modern challenges such as social inclusion and community support.

Community Engagement: The congregation of St Benedict's is in search of a dynamic and courageous priest who is eager to connect with individuals of all ages and effectively communicate the Gospel in relatable ways. The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has requested enhanced episcopal oversight from the Bishop of Beverley.
